I Knew Jack O'neil

After the sad passing of the legend that was Jack O’Neill, Hamblin had the great honour of making a tribute to the man himself (the creator of the wetsuit). They produced this short documentary highlighting his life, his ethos and his spirit.

Process

Using traditional animation techniques combined with CGI we created a title sequence that led the viewer into the opening shot. Throughout the film a large amount of graphics were created bringing archive photography to life by adding motion and in places additional graphics and transitions.
