NHS Thank You Cards

A Fund raising project from Intertype studio who created this limited-edition deck as a tribute to the Kings and Queens of the NHS and other key workers who put themselves on the front line while the rest of us spent more time at home. The proceeds went to the Mind and the NHS Charities during the Covid Pandemic, which provides advice and support to anyone experiencing mental health problems, including key workers.

Around the time of Covid I donated my time with the rest of the contributors, including illustrators Charlie Davis and Jordan Robertson. To create something meaningful was a very energising experience. I created over a minute of animation through kinetic type and 2D motion graphics that align eloquently with the poetry. Intertype gave us the recorded voice over and a set of design assets from the deck to create a simple but effective presentation of the powerful poetry. Along side the main film we developed motion for the individual card illustrations that could be used for social role outs.
